Jung 2012

I am an Assistant Professor of Political Science at Emory University.  I study social organization and governance in fragile and emerging states. I use agent based models to study how social organizations promote cooperation and enhance welfare across a wide variety of contexts from illicit organizations such as terrorist and insurgent organizations, but also amongst states and voters.  I also use field experiments and conduct impact evaluations to study social organization, accountability, fraud, and political mobilization in emerging democracies.

Prior to Emory, I was a Postdoctoral Research Associate on the Empirical Studies of Conflict Project at Princeton University. I received my PhD in Political Science at the University of California, San Diego
